Pre-Order & Reservation Policy

Why Pre-Orders and Reservations?

Sleets is a startup launching a new product on the market, our duvet covers have many variables that are tailor-made to customer needs, these conditions make it virtually impossible for us, at this early stage, to have stock of our product.

A pre-order and reservation model also allows us to:

. Reduce waste and avoid overproduction.

. Deliver a high-quality product with a sustainable approach.

How Our Reservation & Pre-Order System Works

At Sleets, we operate on a pre-order model to ensure sustainable production and avoid excess inventory. Here’s how it works:

1. Reservation Deposit 

You reserve your set with a small deposit (€1). This guarantees your place in the pre-order queue. 

Important: This is a reservation only. The pre-order full payment will be requested after we reach the minimum threshold (20 reservations). The €1 reservation is not Refundable. 

2. Reservation Threshold & Pre-Order Activation 

Once we reach 20 or more reservations, all reservation holders will receive an email to activate their pre-orders by completing a full payment. Check our Progression Bar on product page to track live reservation progress. 

3. Complete Your Pre-Order 

After receiving the full payment email: 

  • You’ll have a limited window of 4 days to complete full payment to activate your pre-order.
  • If payment is not made within 4 days, your reservation will be cancelled and you will have to set a new €1 reservation. 

4. Production Timeline 

After the 20 pre-orders are activated, manufacturing starts: 

  • Manufacturing takes approximately 4–6 weeks (max 8 weeks).
  • Once ready, shipping typically takes 7–14 days. 

5. What If We Don’t Reach the Reservation Goal? 

If the reservation threshold isn’t met: 

  • There is no minimum time period to meet the reservation threshold, your €1 reservation stays eligible for pre-order activation until we meet the minimum 20 reservations.
  • Check our Progression Bar on product page to track live reservation progress.
  • The €1 reservation is not Refundable. 

6. Refund Policy for Pre-Orders 

Pre-Order activation deposits are non-refundable unless: 

  • The minimum 20 pre-order threshold is not meet within the 4 days after the full payment pre-order activation email is sent.
  • We cancel manufacturing. 

Refunds (if eligible) are processed within 5–7 business days. 

Additional Notes 

  • Communication: We will notify you via email at each stage (reservation, full payment pre-order activation, manufacturing start, shipping updates).
