1. How do I choose size and slit option for the duvet covers?

First check the Size Guide to confirm your bed Size, each Size has 3 Slit options, then go to the drop down window and choose the Size and Slit option that you like, the product thumbnail image will update to show you your Size and Slit option.

2. What thread count is the Sleets duvet cover?

The duvet cover has a 200-thread count (200TC). We’ve done extensive research and we’ve come to the conclusion that 200TC is the sweet spot for achieving the perfect balance between softness and breathability, having more than 200 TC would result in a softer texture but at the expense of losing breathability because the fabric weave gets tighter and tighter.

3. What materials are the duvet and duvet covers made from?

Our duvet covers are made from 100% natural cotton, with a percale weave and 200TC. Our duvets are made from 100% natural cotton on the outside and have 100% polyester filling on the inside. Cotton with a percale weave is great for long-lasting softness, and gets even softer after each wash. We’ve also selected a fabric that’s certified by Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) and Oeko-Tex, which ensures our fabric follows strict guidelines and is sustainable.

4. Are Sleets machine washable?

Yes, Sleets are no different to a traditional cover. Specific washing instructions will be included with the cover when it’s delivered.

5. What are the disadvantages of cotton percale sheets?

The disadvantages of cotton percale sheets is that they can feel a bit rougher when compared to sateen sheets, and tend to wrinkle more because of their crisp, durable nature.

6. Why Pre-Orders?

Sleets is a startup launching a new product on the market, our duvet covers have many variables that are tailor-made to each customer, these conditions make it virtually impossible for us to have stock of our product. A pre-order model also allows us to reduce waste and deliver a high-quality product with a sustainable approach.

7. How does the pre-order system work?

We operate on a reservation-based pre-order model. You reserve your product by paying a €1 non-refundable fee. Once we receive 20 reservations, we send out emails to all customers to complete the full payment for their order. When all 20 payments are confirmed (usually within 3 days), we begin manufacturing immediately.

8. What happens if we don’t receive all full payments after 20 reservations?

If we don’t receive full payments from all 20 customers, we refund the payments (excluding the €1 reservation fee) to those who have paid in full, within 5–7 working days. You may reserve again in the future batch if you wish.

9. Is the €1 reservation fee refundable?

No. The €1 reservation fee is non-refundable.

10. Why is there a reservation step?

The reservation ensures only genuinely interested customers are part of each limited production batch. It also allows us to plan production efficiently, avoid waste, and maintain a sustainable business model.

11. What happens after I complete the full payment?

Once all 20 customers make their full payments, production begins immediately. You’ll receive updates at each step: production, shipping, and delivery. Expect delivery updates via email once the batch is in progress.

12. Do you ship worldwide and are shipping fees included?

No, we don't ship worldwide and shipping fees are not included. Initially we will ship only to EU, UK and US. Shipping fees are shown when you place an order and move to check out. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

13. When will my order be shipped? 

Once we reach the minimum 20 order threshold, we send the custom orders to production, the estimated shipping time is between 4 to 6 weeks (max 8 weeks).

14. How do I know if my Sleets have been shipped?

You'll receive a tracking number as soon as we start shipping. Normally, the delivery will take between 4 to 6 weeks after the pre-order are sent to production. Your local carrier might contact you for customs clearance.

15. If I change my mind, am I able to return or exchange my order?

As indicated on our Pre-Order Policy, each product is cut, designed and created especially for you. Due to the custom nature of your order, it may not be returned or exchanged. Please visit our Return Policy for more information.
